ODM
In ODM production we start from a product already developed by the supplier and adapt it to the client's needs, reducing time and costs.
By ODM we mean projects that start from a product already designed or industrialised by the supplier. Existing moulds, shapes or structures are selected and modified through colours, materials, components, finishes, graphic applications or packaging. The client reduces time and investment compared with full development.
Before choosing an ODM base we check that the required customisation is technically sustainable and does not compromise performance or compliance. Even a seemingly simple change can alter waterproofing, strength, composition, labelling or inspection method. We therefore define which elements stay standard and which become specific to the project.
ODM is suitable when speed to market matters but Private Label does not offer enough differentiation. The availability of the mould does not remove the need for sampling and inspection, because the modified product must be validated in its final configuration.
