Certifications
We work with qualified suppliers and manage the documentation required by the product and the destination market, with particular attention to components subject to safety liability.
Compliance is assessed starting from the product, its function, the user and the destination market. We verify which standards and regulations apply, which tests must be carried out and which documents must accompany the goods. CE marking is required only for the categories covered by harmonised European legislation and cannot be used as a generic certification.
When applicable we check test reports, declarations of conformity, the technical file, labelling, batch traceability, instructions and safety information. For articles and materials REACH, substances on the Candidate List, chemical-safety requirements or voluntary standards requested by the client may also be relevant. The check also covers the competence of the laboratory or body that issued the document and the match between the report and the ordered product.
Since 13 December 2024 the European General Product Safety Regulation, GPSR, has strengthened the obligations for many non-food consumer products, including traceability, economic-operator information and risk management. For every import we define the role of the client, the manufacturer and the importer, because selling a product under one's own brand can entail additional responsibilities compared with simple distribution.
