The Shell Jacket Skybug is a custom technical jacket, developed from a model already in the supplier's catalogue. The project required a series of visual and functional changes without developing a new garment from scratch.
We revised the drawstrings and defined the logo application by embroidery. Since the needle can create points through which water may seep in, an internal reinforcement was added under the embroidered area.
Drawstrings, embroidery and reinforcement were coordinated with the factory, checking that the changes did not compromise the construction and protection of the garment. The solution kept the ODM advantages in terms of time and investment, while introducing specific customisations for Skybug.
