Why choose custom keychains
A keychain stays in someone's pocket every day: it is the promotional item with the longest life. To work, though, it has to look like the brand giving it away, not like yet another catalogue model with a logo printed on it.
We start from a drawing or a photograph and develop the mould: the piece comes out in the shape you need, with the colour calibrated on the client's reference and the logo adapted to the real size of the product. The mould is paid for once and stays available for later runs.
Materials and versions
Soft PVC
The most versatile material: it holds complex shapes, solid colours and sharp reliefs even on pieces a few centimetres wide.
Metal
Die-cast zinc or steel, with enamel, engraving or polished and satin finishes, for a more formal object.
Rubber and silicone
Soft to the touch and hard-wearing, suited to solid shapes and contrasting colours.
Metal fittings
Chain, eyelet, ring and carabiner each chosen and checked: that is where a keychain gives way.
The project
The project concerns a rigatone-shaped keychain, with a PVC body, steel chain and eyelet and a base measurement of 5.5 cm. Garofalo wanted a gadget that was recognisable and consistent with its visual identity, able to reproduce the brand's colour and logo correctly and sturdy enough to be used during promotional activities.

Yes, and it is the work we do most often: from a drawing or a photograph we develop the mould and produce the piece in the required shape. For Garofalo we reproduced a 5.5 cm rigatone in PVC, with a steel chain and eyelet.
We start from the reference you give us and adapt it to the chosen material, because the same colour rendered in PVC, rubber or metal is not identical. We also prepare clean artwork that reproduces at the small size of the product. The final colour is approved on the sample.
We do: we check colour, logo rendering, finishes, assembly and the strength of the metal fittings. Where possible we do it in the factory, as we did in China for the Garofalo keychain.
